Two new links

It is commonplace to remark that the British left is way behind the British right when it comes to making use of the internet as a tool for getting its political message across. Even so, Trots seem to be well ahead of anarchist groupings and individuals in this respect. Typical bloody vanguardists!
I am a subscriber to Freedom newspaper. I’d happily link to it, but it does not seem to have an online presence. If I am wrong in thinking this, can somebody could let me have the URL, please?
Meanwhile, the ‘interesting blogs and other websites’ sidebar on the right will now take you to Practically Insurgent, a site published by a young libertarian communist who goes by the name of Jack Ray. It features some thought-0provoking takes on events, rooted in that part of the political spectrum.
I’m also linking to a recent blog started by Daily Mirror political editor Kevin Maguire, with assistance from other members of his team. Kevin is a sound working class bloke from Gateshead, and not even decades of dwelling in the namby-pamby south seem to have taken all of the gutter out of the boy.
Kevin’s Labour Party and trade union connections second to none. Hopefully he will produce some interesting blogging in 2008.

Freedom doesn’t put the paper online, though they are the source for a good number of the news stories at http://libcom.org I’m not sure it’s fair to judge the anarchist movement by Freedom though. They’ve always been notoriously behind the times.
Other anarchist publications:
Black Flag have no recent online presence either although that may come. (They relaunched a few years ago).
The anarcho-syndicalist Solidarity Federation does have it’s Direct Action magazine online. Nicely done as well. Different choice of formats and everything: http://www.direct-action.org.uk/
Also in a syndicalist vein, although not purely an anarchist organisation, the IWW has selected articles from back issues of Blood and Roses available- http://www.iww.org.uk/bar/index.html
While they don’t put the paper online, Class War’s Newswire section is written in a similar style- http://www.londonclasswar.org/newswire/
The Anarchist Federation have selected articles plus full back issues of Organise! online- http://www.afed.org.uk/org/index.html They still haven’t bloody remembered to make it Firefox friendly, but I have the same problem with Weekly Worker.
And finally, again not strictly anarchist, but there’s the always reliable Schnews- http://www.schnews.org.uk/ They’re the most technically advanced and have movies etc.
That’s probably all the main ones, having left out the single issue anarchist groups like Antifa and Anarchist Black Cross.
