Heckler & Koch boss funds Tories

How interesting to learn from the Electoral Commission website that an individual by the name Andreas Heeschen has donated £58,000 to the Conservative Party over the last year.

That’ll be the bloke who nows owns Heckler & Koch, manufacturer of the fine submachine guns and assault rifles that aficionados believe to be the finest in the world. Same old Tories, eh?

He’d better watch out. New Labour knows just exactly how to deal with hecklers, especially those with German-sounding names. Ask Walter Wolfgang.

  1. Dave, for using a pun that bad you should be shot…

    Geddit?

  2. A rather risible pun Dave.

I note in passing that Mr Heeschens estimable products would be of far greater use to the working classes of this country than anything produced by the likes of Mr Wolfgang. Hot air rather than hot lead for the boss class was always the style of Old Labour. Good riddance says I.

Though as a real revolutionary i am sure you can strip and rebuild your semi-automatic blindfolded, will have a list of the people you intend to shoot in the opening minutes of the insurrection and have worked out how you are going to storm all the relevant strong points in the locality.

On the other hand you might just be one of those far left bullshit merchants…

Its a case for nationalisation under workers control perhaps?

  6. What a story! Arms manufacturers eh? Though rather smaller than BAe. Not seem this one promulgated anywhere. Will get right onto that now.

  7. Actually it used to be owned by BAe. They sold it to the Tory donor. More here.

  8. It is LOFBs not me that wears a blindfold. After all at some point the criticism of arms must take the place of mere criticism. In the meantime our friends opposition to the democratic right to keep and bear firearms must disarm the working class politically. Much as the Labour Party has always disarmed the working class.

  9. I think this guy would sell direct to the working class. Probably on drip if needs be. He used to sell us soap and detergents and that stuff. Like some kind of Racket and Kill-Man character.

  10. Heckler and Koch weapons were certainly produced under licence by BAe at Enflied, I believe. It came up when a German left-wing paper’s reporter discovered that Serb nationalist snipers were using them around Sarajevo. The German company said it had checked and these were the British-made ones.

As regards those people fantasizing about what the working class could do with this hardware (and incidentally rubblishing poor old Walter, no doubt having fought much more impressive battles themselves)…I think Labour is only too willing to distribute large amounts of weaponry to workers. Only trouble is it requires them to put on uniform and take their oath to Queen and Country first. Indeed when I was a lad we had a Labour government under old Clem Attlee which was the first to bring in peacetime conscription and not only arhed young workers but sent them on exciting tours to exotic places like Malaya, Korea, Egypt and so on. And then when we thought Wilson might do the same, he made do with professionals. Once again safe in the knowledge that the guns would not be turned on the officers or the bosses. Indeed, British governments have found it easier on the whole to use the army against the working class when they needed to. Anyone remember those troops coming back from the Falklands/Malvinas war with banners promising to take on the railwaymen and miners?

So when you tossers have finished fantasizing about guns, we’re back with the problem of today’s working class being poorly organised and even weaker led, so that it is doubtful how many even think in class terms or know who the enemy is. Oh yes, and there are some areas and sections where there seems to have been suspiciously easy access to guns. And who have these been turned against? A kid playing football in a Croxteth pub car park. I’ve yet to hear of one BNP racist or rich capitalist getting fired on. The only time the police get hit is when in the way of a robbery. Most of the shootings have been black on black, and most victims of violent crime are working class.

So before you start talking about guns, there’s a job to in reviving and honing class consciousness so we are not all attacking each other. It might even take some patience, and a bit of “hot air”.

What a pointless blog post. So the manufacturer of the weapons most used throughout the Western World by the police and law enforcement agencies donates money to a political party? So what? I think the Tories should be quite happy that the law enforcement industry beleives they would make the best governing party.
